- Responsible Solid processes within the Plant and providing necessary guidance
- Coordinating between subordinates in maintaining high quality and cost effective Solid operations
- Ensuring that the flow of Solid processes and production rate within the Plant is in compliance with defined monthly production plan.
- Ensuring that the safety, environmental and health regulations are being adopted and properly applied through various Solid processes and taking required actions in case of accidents
- Conducting raw material inspections to check conformity to required specifications and taking the necessary actions accordingly before proceeding with the Solid process
- Coordinating with the Quality function to ensure compliance of processes in various Solid stages with set quality standards as well as facilitating sampling activities and required inspections required to attain the approval on Solid process.
- Conducting regular maintenance investigations to check and ensure efficiency of Solid machines at the Plant and recommending corrective and preventive maintenance actions when the need arises
- Coordinating with the Engineering function to set machine’s maintenance, setups and adjustments’ schedules
- Coordinating with the warehouse function to ensure delivery of raw material to the warehouses on time and process compliance with the set quality standards
- Communicating and interpreting company policies to subordinates and ensuring their proper implementation
- Providing required training to subordinates in order to guarantee compliance of Solid operations to proper procedures according to recently updated SOPs
- Suggesting plans and programs to boost the effectiveness of the Main Plant function
- Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
